Two highly seasoned professionals that bring their expertise to the RIH BOE

At the Feb. 12th RIH BOE Mtg, Ms Dora Zeno, the Business Administrator, thanked Tom Bogdansky for prompting her to investigate the districts return in interest income and investments. She said, "Mr Bogdansky, I recognize that you were the one prompting me on that one and I am grateful for it because we did meet with our banking officials. Our current rate for the last couple of years was down to 2.25%. Effective February 1, they moved it to 4.3%, in addition to that we moved some of the money to long term investment (NJ ARMS) with an interest rate of 5.3%. So overall, one of the reasons we'll be able to keep our balances and tax levy stable is that we'll be yielding about a half million dollars. So I do recognize that you prompted me to do that and I thank you for that, and the district will benefit from that."

Between school hours & after-school activities, our children spend more time away from home and family. Tom & O.T. recognize that mental health is often stigmatized, but it encompasses much more than what people typically think. Mental health includes stress, depression, overall well-being, time management, & the ability to cope with everyday stressors.
Our teachers are often the first to notice when something isn’t right. That’s why it’s vital that they are equipped with the tools, training, & resources to recognize the signs of mental health challenges—so that we can connect students with the help they need as early as possible.
Having these programs & resources in-house not only ensures that help is accessible & immediate, but it also SAVES TAXPAYERS over $1 million!
Just as importantly, we want our students to know that support systems are in place & that we genuinely care about their well-being. When we prioritize mental health, we create an environment where every child has an equal opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed. Without this foundation, we risk failing the very students we’re here to serve.

Please consider showing your support by placing a lawn sign for our campaign. We will drop it off and also remove after the elections.
Tom and O.T. believe that academic excellence is the foundation for unlocking every student’s full potential. They recognize that each student brings unique talents and strengths to the classroom, and they are dedicated to supporting programs that help students discover, develop, and thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally.
THEIR PRIORITIES ARE CLEAR:
They lead with integrity, value transparent decision-making, and aim to foster meaningful connections among parents, educators, and administrators. Their goal is to ensure every student has access to a well-rounded, high-quality education rooted in both academic and character development.
As seasoned professionals, dedicated parents, and involved neighbors, Tom and O.T. are ready to bring their expertise to the
Ramapo Indian Hills Board of Education.
They are committed to representing the voices and values of families across our community.
